I had been having lessons with another instructor but he wasn´t able to teach me any more. A couple of my friends were having lessons with Julian and recommended him to me. I´m glad I changed as Julian pointed out some things I was doing wrong and made a few changes to my driving and I was soon taking my test and passing! I would recommend Julian to anyone else.

Congratulations to Phil Saxon of Hazel Grove, who passed his test at Bredbury test centre today. This was Phil´s second attempt at the test, and he only made 3 driving faults. Phil is an excellent driver and kept his nerve despite a few butterflies. I hope to see Phil for Pass Plus, and I hope he enjoys the SkidPan challenge prize that he won earlier this year. Good luck Phil - I will miss our soapbox sessions - who will put the world to rights with me now?!

I was really keen to get my driving licence as I have a long commute to work and was fed up with long bus journeys. Julian was very patient and helped me get my confidence. I was so pleased to pass first time and I am looking forward to doing Pass Plus and getting on the motorways.

Congratulations to Natasa, who passed her driving test at Bredbury test centre. Natasa, of Stockport, passed at the second attempt with just 5 minor driving faults. Delighted with the result, Natasa said that passing her test before the arrival of her baby son was a dream come true. Natasa has suffered with nerves earlier in her course but we focused on planning and anticipation skills to improve her sense of control over her environment.

I was really nervous about doing my test as I had done one before and didn't know if I was good enough to pass. I thought I would change to Mitchells and I'm glad I did. Julian was very encouraging and reassured me that I could definitely pass. We worked on some things that I was concerned about and I was thrilled when I passed.

After recently failing my test with another driving school, I decided to do a driving test course with Mitchells. Mark was brilliant. Being an older driver I lacked confidence, but with Marks knowledge, and the way he made driving fun, I really looked forward to my lessons, and started to believe in myself. I felt calm and relaxed on my test, and passed with only a few minor faults. I had previous lessons and a test in St Helens but was unsuccessful. I moved to Stockport for university and a job but needed to pass my driving test over the Christmas holidays. Mark was great showing me how to read the road corectly, as this was a new area, and how to do roundabouts properly. Passing the driving test was great and will make life so much easier, being able to see my parents in st Helens whenever I like.
